Beautiful Moroccan Handira cushion made from really thick woven wool.

Hand-woven from Moroccan wool, hand-sewn and then finished with sparkling sequins
Handmade by Berber women in the High Atlas of Morocco.

It is made of thick wool and decorated with long fluffy cotton fringes, sequins and tassels.

These Moroccan pillowcases are made from a hand-woven Moroccan wedding blanket (called a handira).
Each cushion is unique and small imperfections guarantee the uniqueness of the pure handwork.

We discovered these great cushions in the souks of Marrakech and were immediately hooked.

You can fill them with a commercially available inner pillow or you can do great up-cycling by stuffing the pillow with old clothes or fabrics.
